Subprocessors
Last updated: May 2026 · Draft — counsel and procurement review required
Chaired uses third-party services (“subprocessors”) to host and operate the platform. Your organization’s Data Processing Addendum should reference this list or incorporate updates when we notify you. This page is a starting inventory only — it is not a contract.
| Vendor | Category | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | Infrastructure & hosting | Hosting and execution of the Chaired web application and serverless/API routes in supported regions. |
| Neon | Database | Managed PostgreSQL database storage for application and audit data as configured for each deployment. |
| Twilio Inc. | Communications | Delivery of SMS or voice notifications when enabled by a program (e.g., alerts). Programs remain responsible for consent and messaging compliance. |
| Google Maps Platform (Google LLC) | Maps & location | Maps display and/or server-side geocoding when those features are enabled and keys are supplied by the deployment. |
| OpenAI | AI & automation | Optional AI-assisted CSV formatting in admin tools when `OPENAI_API_KEY` is configured; may process uploaded roster text per admin action. |
Updates
Production programs should receive notice of material subprocessor changes per your agreement. Subscribe internal stakeholders to release notes or maintain a customer-facing changelog when you go live.
